Autium is also committed to dispersing the fruits of its success more widely through the community by fostering stronger company - community partnerships. To this end, we organise events that provide opportunities to the participants to deepen their understanding of jewellery as an art form and to showcase their talents.
Autium/ Greg Lyons
Autium is one of the main sponsors in Greg Lyons' recording project “ Smoke Signals”
Smoke Signals is a compilation of Greg’s own compositions and the album was inspired by his experiences as a traveler. The title Smoke Signals refers to the nature of communication and interpretation from one point-of-view to another: country to country, culture to culture, human to human, gender to gender. Smoke Signal features Pierre De Bethmann on piano and Rhodes, Dudley Phillips on bass, Nic France on drums, John Parricelli on guitar. Greg Lyons makes original music of an eclectic nature combining elements of his whole musical evolution- which includes representation of jazz, classical, funk, Afro-Cuban and lots more.

Black Gold. Autium developed a patented process with a 18kt white gold alloy that can convert into a black surface layer. Unlike existing methods involving the deposition of chemicals. Black Gold, 18kt achieves a colouration through the gold itself, certifying it as 75% gold purity.
