DESCRIPTION

Citrine is a popular type of quartz crystal often used to in conjunction with feng shui to welcome abundance, prosperity, and positivity. Natural citrine is quite rare, and most citrine is actually amethyst that has been heat-treated to alter its color.The spiritual meaning of Citrine is its yellow hues symbolizing the spiritual qualities of joy, abundance, and transmutation.

Cabochon is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex obverse with a flat reverse.The usual shape for cutting cabochons is an ellipse. This is because the eye is less sensitive to small asymmetries in an ellipse, as opposed to a uniformly round shape, such as a circle, and because the elliptical shape, combined with the dome, is attractive.
