DESCRIPTION

London blue topaz is known for its elegant dark royal blue colour. This December birthstone is also known to clear the mind and associated with peacefulness, honesty, and wisdom. The name Topaz comes from the Sanskrit word 'Tapas', which means fire. Erzgiberge Mountains in Germany were the first origin source of yellow and brown topaz, until 1730s in which a new deposit mine was found in Brazil. Since then, Brazil remains to be the largest producer of topaz.
